About the Event
June 2021 marked the 100 year anniversary of the demise of “Black Wall Street” in Tulsa, OK. The era of “Black Wall Street'' symbolizes resilience, perseverance and pride in the African American Community. Through overcoming obstacles while still thriving, this term represents Black Excellence.
The destruction of this momentous time set us back yet again from participating in the social economic benefits offered in this country.
On the heels of Junteenth, there are constant reminders of the racial injustices that are not new but now being highlighted, coupled with the pandemic that have conspired together to create a pivotal time in history for the African American Community to “Move Forward Together”. For many years, African Americans have endured obstacles, unconscious biases and disparate treatment, however, we have and still are able to excel against all odds.
Now is the time to bring together our collective energies, efforts and abilities to reignite a new economic engine that will change history for generations to come.
This is an invite only event and registration is capped.
